dear fam. i m writing to all of u because u are all involved in the media and as far as i can tell got love for berlin. i m not sure if you know fleischerei..i assume some of u do..for those that don t the spot is an old butcher shop converted into a screen printing center..it s been around i believe for over 10 years…it gave birth to many a graffiti crew and roots initiatives..the most famous of which would be the cbs crew…also many posters you ve seen on the streets of berlin have been produced there and bands such as tolcha printed all their covers and promo material there back in the day, we printed a t shirts there..this is by far one of my favorite spots in the city and in my opinion a cultural legacy..the walls are covered with art…but unfortunately as the fires of gentrification start to spread mercilessly they are threatened to leave the shop unless they have enough media support which will enable them to get government support to keep the project running…below you have some links to more info and contacts to the fleischerei..thank u for your time..all the best.rqm

been wondering who s in charge of this neon conspiracy and palestinian scarves being available at h&m ? it s quite refresshing to see a new hip hop scene on the rise minus that dime a dozen street referencin that was strongholdin it for the last 20 years believe it or.. and the music is also getting more experimental and broken – literally..offf beat n all…i m thinking rustie, cool kids, mike slott, lunice, flying lotus n them. 90s is the new oldschool but i don t know about kanye …
the other day i read a recent issue of waxpoetics..the one dedicated to hip hop and i m not sure if it was the alchemyst interview or the just blaze feature, don t matter really, the point is that one of them said that for him the productions that really click with the mass majority on a commercial tip are 4 years old when they actually hit the market. now if the electronica scene is about creating a hyper tomorrow sonically – i m wondering what the latency is on these productions..and wutt s with grime turning back into garage?
