What a fun weekend! It was Tommy’s birthday. He threw a party at Taksu gallery. I got so smashed and solicited kisses from all the boys. I was told one of them turned me down (?huh?). Then I jumped in the pool in my undies. Lucky they matched! And then I put my dress back on on top of my wet knickers. hahahahahah. Then I cuddled with Taff, it’s great to have friends you can cuddle with. Then I woke up safe and sound alone in my own bed with a splitting head-ache.

Well, I fried a great amount of grey matter between the ages of 17 and 30. Nemmind la. If I compromised on my cleverness, who would entertain me? Entertaining friends is a limited and precious resource. So when I don’t have them around, I have alot of entertaining to do. Don’t tell me I should be (gasp) bored. Of course I would rather be alone and entertained than stupid and with someone… ugh, that sounds thoroughly boring.
Or I could just chase this intriguing person (albeit a little blur), get tired, feel stupid, and then start all over again like a curious child. Having said that, chasing on the phone is a challenge, to say the least. Maybe it’s like climbing, I have to hone my technique. Or maybe it’s just dumb and I’ll get over it soon. It really does suck to be more interested than someone you set your sights on, it’s not good for your ego, reputation, brand image, health, phone bill, sense of humour…
O well, I have my music. Listening to a Hip Hop album from Jogja, which is beautiful!! I want to drown in poetry and music. blogspot won’t let me show you. Sucks to be you too.

We got some friends out there, as you know. Mad people doing all kinds of stuff. Over all these years we connected with more and more heads out there. One of em is the Producer and DJ PROPATINGZ…Californa’s Bass Problem Child Numero Uno. A Crunchtime Propatingz Collabo is sealed since our man Stereo is chattin with the dude for years. Respect… Finest Bass and Breaks and whatever you call it! He is around for a good decade of bass, originally from the UK and now based in San Francisco, California USA. The new propa tings website just went online. Digg it! We do for sure.
the new year can come (actually it’s already here… but depending on where you are and how you define here and there and whatnot…daaaaa). to the new year is here and we are finally sober again… The CRUNCHTIME Kick Off on the 18th of december went super slick…
Lena and we collected a bunch of fotos from the last 3, 4, 15, 10 years and we did this sort of performance… it was not actually announced as a performance and it also just became on just thinking about how it went: via internet boards and mailings we announced something like a foto exhibition at play fm… the plan was to show where we partied the last decade and where we lost our minds. we is all of the family… stereo and me collected pictures, plus we threw alotta shots from fefe, rqm, dizz one…u name em… even shots of the old original al haca crew feat arnd and ras tweed form rockers…back in the days stuff. so picture lena and me with loads of shots form allover. we wanted to hang em all nice on a worldmap and we planed to use these golden strings to tie things together and link stuff… we ran out of time and instead of panicing we just used stickers to throw on on that 6 meter wall including the worldmap… it took us 30 minutes i would say and believe me putting em on the wall and rediscovering our selection was fun and brought back so many vibes and memories… yeah. no words. the actual opening was a rush and we dropped a few voucher cards and went off… as quick as we came. rawbird was representing and spinning. FUN!

after that i rushed to the printer cause i still had to get some inlay papers for the give away cd. last minute ish. plus of course i had to get home and pack for a session in bukarest (flight was 6 in the morning after CRUNCHTIME Kick Off). Easy, only that i also needed to pack for my 10 day x mas visit at the family. job done in 20 minutes. off to the fluc. places was looking amaizing. the soundframe crew plus fritz fitzke crew for the visual projections and attractions. brenk warmed up the place with a smelly soul set. rest is history. i can not put that into words… you needed to there. THANKS TO ALL YOU PEOPLE SHOWING UP… THANKS TO THOSE OF YOU WHO COULDN’T MAKE IT BUT SEND MESSAGES AND WHERE THERE WITH US SOMEHOW ANYWAYS. AND OF COURSE THANKS TO ALL THE TALENTS ON STAGE.
