the new year can come (actually it’s already here… but depending on where you are and how you define here and there and whatnot…daaaaa). to the new year is here and we are finally sober again… The CRUNCHTIME Kick Off on the 18th of december went super slick…
Lena and we collected a bunch of fotos from the last 3, 4, 15, 10 years and we did this sort of performance… it was not actually announced as a performance and it also just became on just thinking about how it went: via internet boards and mailings we announced something like a foto exhibition at play fm… the plan was to show where we partied the last decade and where we lost our minds. we is all of the family… stereo and me collected pictures, plus we threw alotta shots from fefe, rqm, dizz one…u name em… even shots of the old original al haca crew feat arnd and ras tweed form rockers…back in the days stuff. so picture lena and me with loads of shots form allover. we wanted to hang em all nice on a worldmap and we planed to use these golden strings to tie things together and link stuff… we ran out of time and instead of panicing we just used stickers to throw on on that 6 meter wall including the worldmap… it took us 30 minutes i would say and believe me putting em on the wall and rediscovering our selection was fun and brought back so many vibes and memories… yeah. no words. the actual opening was a rush and we dropped a few voucher cards and went off… as quick as we came. rawbird was representing and spinning. FUN!

after that i rushed to the printer cause i still had to get some inlay papers for the give away cd. last minute ish. plus of course i had to get home and pack for a session in bukarest (flight was 6 in the morning after CRUNCHTIME Kick Off). Easy, only that i also needed to pack for my 10 day x mas visit at the family. job done in 20 minutes. off to the fluc. places was looking amaizing. the soundframe crew plus fritz fitzke crew for the visual projections and attractions. brenk warmed up the place with a smelly soul set. rest is history. i can not put that into words… you needed to there. THANKS TO ALL YOU PEOPLE SHOWING UP… THANKS TO THOSE OF YOU WHO COULDN’T MAKE IT BUT SEND MESSAGES AND WHERE THERE WITH US SOMEHOW ANYWAYS. AND OF COURSE THANKS TO ALL THE TALENTS ON STAGE.
