Good to be home folks. Before I actually move for good I am here in KL, Malaysia, to see how people are loving the barefoot vibe CRUNCHTIME is spreading again and again and again. So what happend so far: Ara and me did a surprise gig at the 7th anniversary of JUICE . Thanks to Kevin, Muna and the whole Juice crew for making it happen. Ara and me performed at HOME CLUB Singapore, which was heaps of fun. Had some serious difficulties getting into SG, cause we had a sealed pack of cigarettes in the car (200 Singapore $$$ had to be put on the table. No sign that you can’t bring your own cigarettes though. At airports worldwide they even have signs that you can’t bring bombs… great…well…whatever…robots say HELLO) Home Club feels like home for sure. Thanks to Kelvin, Robin, Ming, Dubwise and the whole crew for making it happen! Was good to see the family too: Stefan, Aresha, and of course Don. You are the man!

QUICK UPDATE: The other day we hit up Graz again. The Four Elements Festival was on and Crunchtime hosted a whole night there. The artistlist was long and we gonna give you another review on the whole event these days. Big thanks to everybody… For now I just wanted to share these pictures with you. What are we doing when we are doing what we are doing? We call it Barefoot…chest-thumping bass, rhyme and a couple of other odds and ends that may catch us at the time. No BPM rules attached. That’s what we delivered also at this years Fusion Festival. Ara and me were representing Crunchtime and the Barefoot Movement.
And funny people like this got loose to our sound. We played a superlong 2 hours 30 minutes set.
After letting barefoot loose we were loose and later on (two days later) Jahcoozi joined me at the Fusion. Ara and Jeffrey were off to London after a sleepless night at the … yeah… Fusion… (almost forgot where I was..)

Last weekend (feels like it still is last weekend) we busted the glorious Vice Austria 2nd B Day Party. First we got drunk on these killing Bombay Saphire drinks and made heavy use of other drink and things…We call it Warm Up…… and after Krazy Baldhead delivered his bass and banging beats and twisted sounds Ara started climbing again… What can I say… Krazy Baldhead was glad he stayed he said… me too.

The Four Elements Festival combines the four original main elements of Hip Hop culture (Rap, Graffiti, Breakdance and DJ-ing) in the form of a convention and presents those to the wider public.
This years convention will happen on the 2nd of July until the 5th of July in the beautiful city of Graz. On the 3rd of July we are hosting a full night at the festival, which of course is really cool and f++king awsome…YAY… yahoooooo… bling bling bling. So what we gonna do? Our line up is sick, not ill: ARABYRD, FEFE aka LIL MONSTA, DEPHJOE, CEE from AL HACA, DARCOSAN and DRAWVOLUTION plus special guest DIYALA

After countless workshop sessions all over the globe I gotta say I love my usergroup in Vienna. They learn tricks from me and I learn tricks form them. We meet every monthly right before the CRUNCHTIME RADIOSHOW at Play.FM, Museumsquartier Vienna. So the next one will be on the 16th of June.
The usergroup starts at 6 pm and is a good oportunity to chat about nerdy audiosoftware or check out those new tricks we figured out, plus it’s a great oportunity to show us your tricks and things. See you there, in case you are in Vienna. Otherwise see you someday at one of our workshops…

So the hot news is the byrd has landed in Europe and is recording her debut album together with the Crunchtime crew.
