Abilities:
Tritone is a musician, adept in the art of song and composition. He possesses a vast intuitive understanding of the correlation between sound and quantum physics, which may be a direct result of his mutant power. He also engages in regular deep meditation, the nature and and technique of which is only known to him.
History:
Little is known about this enigmatic being. It seems, when he leaves the scene he ceases to exist. Even though only a handful of people are confirmed to have seen him with his helmet removed (even though many claim they have) they were not able to provide more insight. Some say he is a white haired nordic looking man ,others say he is a young dark skinned islander. Some say he is an extraterrestrial shape shifter, some say he is from a parallel universe, some claim to have attended elementary school with him, some say he´s short months of alimony for three women. You get my drift…?
Powers:
Sono-kinesis. The ability to manipulate non-organic matter
and creating multidimensional structures (i.e. weaponry) with the
power of his voice and by changing the frequency of his entire body. More
than merely a different version of telekinesis, this form of sono kinesis commands matter beyond its cellular plane, even into the never understood quantum plane, the blue print of the one reality. Sometimes Tritone shows feats similar to telekinesis, moving/throwing things. He can levitate great weights, into the tons, but his upper limit has remained undisclosed. He spontaneously creates little platforms, which appear under his feet while he’s walking or running in mid air, or a disk that allows him to fly at great speeds. Considering that Tritone can levitate by himself, yet slowly and not higher than a couple of meters, it can be assumed, that his power increases with the use of an material object as some sort of catalyst, just like the strings of a guitar need a body to amplify its sound. Tritone’s senses enable him to perceive material reality as vibrating energy particles on layers of sound waves. To him everything is sound, making it possible for him to view different overtones of reality and traversing there by adjusting the frequency of his entire self. This, to individuals of limited insight, looks as if he would blink out of and into existence. Over the years he seems to also have learned to detect probability waves, granting him a sense of precognition and increasing his reflexes greatly.
The Pitchfork:
Tritone has been seen wielding a special three pointed scimitar-staff, often referred to as “The Pitchfork”.It is formed by Tritones sono-kinetics and consists of normal matter and 4th and 5th dimensional particles, which are usually beyond the visible spectrum, but give the object a mild glow. Also its particles are in a kind of constant vibrating flux making The Pitchfork give off a faint humming sound – hence the name. Crafted of what could be called a multidimensional alloy, The Pitchfork affects not only a living beings physical, but also its emotional, mental and astral bodies (similar to Captain Nirvana’s “Soul Sword”) in different ways, dependent on Tritone’s intention. In battle it is used mostly as a means to shut down and reboot an opponents nervous system, causing instant K.O. However, Tritone, if he intended to, could use the pitchfork to separate a beings very essence from its physical body, therefore causing instant death. (However this was only the case once before, fulfilling the wish of a man, who was slowly dying from a painful disease). When directed against machines based on electrical circuits, the effects are similar and optionally irreparable. The Pitchfork is confirmed to also have an array of different non-offensive applications.
Tritone once cleared a woman’s astral body, which was possessed by an outer worldly entity called “Lirk”, using the Pitchfork as a means to divide the two spirits. Side-effects of the pitchfork touch can be a dreamlike trance, shock, seizures or even bliss and ecstasy. Paradoxically, many foes even claim to have had a “moment of extreme clarity and peace”, an epiphany, while under the Forks influence. (This sparked a pseudo new age movement of people who dedicated their lives, proving worthy to “die by The Pitchfork”). Tritone has yet to make a statement about their offer to announce him their Pope.) Collected information suggests that The Pitchforḱ’s primary function actually is to focus and increase Tritone’s might, like a dowsing rod. Others say, it is to increase Tritones control over his power by diminishing its range.
The Armor:
Tritone is wearing a special armor and helmet protecting him against all kinds of damage (even bad music) by adjusting its structure and even altering probability waves, which makes him very hard to be hit in the first place. The Helmet allows him to breathe in hostile and even airless atmospheres, such as space. This armor, due to its ancient design, was often believed to be the actual source of his power, but turned out to be yet another obscure emanation of his body.
