Are you all satisfied? Aua…what a saturday night. Jahcoozi came over from Berlin and brought us lots of bass (yes, of course the P.A. was too small…more bass …), barefoot music and style non stop. The crowd loved it and lemme tell you I was so pleased with the Viennese support. This was actually the best Crunchtime night in Vienna so far. People nuts…

bass addicted zombies everywhere. barefoot bass victims as we call em. barefoot music ain’t for pussies : )

vppv 243

But yeah, the praising was a must for those who could still stand up. Jahcoozi‘s Live Set was of the hook. Sasha needed help indeed to do so.

vppv 239

And they gave us more then just a spoon full. No wonder we all couldn’t properly stand up straight..

vppv 212

The night before our Jahcoozi Fam performed at Berlin’s Brandenburg Gate as the opener for the Athletic Olympics yo…A-Ha played too la. Hehehee… On TV and all. That’s what’s up : )

vppv 225

It was a lovely vibe. Barefoot ain’t for hippies though… But we sure get down too…

And we were like: You ready? Yup. I am ready. You ready? Yup. I am…. and so on and so on…

vppv 193

The crowd started morvin… due to Stirn Prumzer

vppv 199

Just took a sec to really get to me, but I eventually morved too. And Stereo is doing the jaw dropper. Yup it was mad and the crowd was mad and yeah the location was mad. Respect all.

Good to be home folks. Before I actually move for good I am here in KL, Malaysia, to see how people are loving the barefoot vibe CRUNCHTIME is spreading again and again and again. So what happend so far: Ara and me did a surprise gig at the 7th anniversary of JUICE . Thanks to Kevin, Muna and the whole Juice crew for making it happen. Ara and me performed at HOME CLUB Singapore, which was heaps of fun. Had some serious difficulties getting into SG, cause we had a sealed pack of cigarettes in the car (200 Singapore $$$ had to be put on the table. No sign that you can’t bring your own cigarettes though. At airports worldwide they even have signs that you can’t bring bombs… great…well…whatever…robots say HELLO) Home Club feels like home for sure. Thanks to Kelvin, Robin, Ming, Dubwise and the whole crew for making it happen! Was good to see the family too: Stefan, Aresha, and of course Don. You are the man!

More pictures soon. Check these for now… Silly stuff.

What are we doing when we are doing what we are doing? We call it Barefoot…chest-thumping bass, rhyme and a couple of other odds and ends that may catch us at the time. No BPM rules attached. That’s what we delivered also at this years Fusion Festival. Ara and me were representing Crunchtime and the Barefoot Movement.

And funny people like this got loose to our sound. We played a superlong 2 hours 30 minutes set.spider

After letting barefoot loose we were loose and later on (two days later) Jahcoozi joined me at the Fusion. Ara and Jeffrey were off to London after a sleepless night at the … yeah… Fusion… (almost forgot where I was..)

Yesterday this email landed in my inbox and i cracked up… in a positive way. This guy Ton from Amsterdam is joining the dots and is wondering if we are trying to break it down with the sickest marketing or if we just don’t want people to get our music. Well, we believe the internet is full of Crunchtime music and it is spreading almost automatically… No, for real, we know alotta stuff is just not accessable. This problem we are trying to solve in every way… That’s why we started Crunchtime end of 2008… all the goodies are still on our hard disks. Watch out for all the upcoming stuff in all different forms. Meanwhile you can build MONSTERS for us and receive free mp3′s…

not enough bass

yes yes yes i start many blogs with yes yes yes… this thursday was this singstar vice party and sinden was spinning. first time in austria… stereotyp’s KUBO was bringing bass were there was no bass… there was not enough bass anyways, but they brought what they could, if u know what i mean. was a blast to bring em on one floor for sure…. next time austria is better putting such a line up into a bass heavy club. people enjoyed it anyways… but we all have that obsession with bass ya know…. collaborations are now following …sinden kubo stereotyp crunchtime all that. so it was good good good!
