What are we doing when we are doing what we are doing? We call it Barefoot…chest-thumping bass, rhyme and a couple of other odds and ends that may catch us at the time. No BPM rules attached. That’s what we delivered also at this years Fusion Festival. Ara and me were representing Crunchtime and the Barefoot Movement.

And funny people like this got loose to our sound. We played a superlong 2 hours 30 minutes set.spider

After letting barefoot loose we were loose and later on (two days later) Jahcoozi joined me at the Fusion. Ara and Jeffrey were off to London after a sleepless night at the … yeah… Fusion… (almost forgot where I was..)

Last weekend (feels like it still is last weekend) we busted the glorious Vice Austria 2nd B Day Party. First we got drunk on these killing Bombay Saphire drinks and made heavy use of other drink and things…We call it Warm Up…… and after Krazy Baldhead delivered his bass and banging beats and twisted sounds Ara started climbing again… What can I say… Krazy Baldhead was glad he stayed he said… me too.

The Four Elements Festival combines the four original main elements of Hip Hop culture (Rap, Graffiti, Breakdance and DJ-ing) in the form of a convention and presents those to the wider public.

This years convention will happen on the 2nd of July until the 5th of July in the beautiful city of Graz. On the 3rd of July we are hosting a full night at the festival, which of course is really cool and f++king awsome…YAY… yahoooooo… bling bling bling. So what we gonna do? Our line up is sick, not ill: ARABYRD, FEFE aka LIL MONSTA, DEPHJOE, CEE from AL HACA, DARCOSAN and DRAWVOLUTION plus special guest DIYALA

Here is a link for the whole festival guide

Yo, here is a beat so you can practice… : )

The Four Elements crew has lots of information about this crunchtime labelnight up on there website

After countless workshop sessions all over the globe I gotta say I love my usergroup in Vienna. They learn tricks from me and I learn tricks form them. We meet every monthly right before the CRUNCHTIME RADIOSHOW at Play.FM, Museumsquartier Vienna. So the next one will be on the 16th of June.

only users loose
The usergroup starts at 6 pm and is a good oportunity to chat about nerdy audiosoftware or check out those new tricks we figured out, plus it’s a great oportunity to show us your tricks and things. See you there, in case you are in Vienna. Otherwise see you someday at one of our workshops…

And you know how I feel. How we all feel. And we are getting more… We are Arabyrd friends and fans. So the hot news is the byrd has landed in Europe and is recording her debut album together with the Crunchtime crew. Just about a month ago Stereotyp, Cee and Ara blasted the Sentosa Beach Worldwide Session with lots of bass and barefoot dances. (Facebook is full of pictures…)

Crunchtime’s CEE (AL HACA) will be running an exclusive WORLDWIDE FESTIVAL Ableton Workshop. As done so many times before in CEE’s workshop sessions, he will indroduce Ableton’s vision of creative, real-time digital music with a wealth of new techniques, sounds, effects and most-wanted workflow improvements.
This music production software has attracted an extensive and highly committed community of musicians, composers, and DJs worldwide. This course will includes a series of topics focusing on specific programming techniques and also examines creative methods for arranging and producing entire song productions. “We wanna show musical approaches you wouldn’t necessarily come up on your own”, says Cee. Beginners and Users will have fun for sure.  Be inspired & Inspire!

You might have noticed the Zero” shop widget we are using on our al haca myspace. It’s a great tool (next to our affilate shop system) to spread our music and also to make sure people can access and even buy the stuff. So listen, register, buy, enjoy and spread the player. Put it on your blogs, social media…whereever you can squeeze it in. Bass!

Now copy / paste the HTML code below to your blogs and pages… even works in comments.

JUST COPY THE WHOLE CODE… :

We love when things work out nice and easy. Simply like a family business. A flow of collaborations, which are just obvious and inevitably successful. This is what you can call our connection with the Worldwide Festival Crew and Mr. Gilles Peterson himself. Al Haca’s Cee/Fefe aka Lil Monsta/Arabyrd/Lexie Lee/Stereotyp/Ku Bo will all perform at the WF Singapore 7-8-9-10 MAY 09. Last years edition was voted “Best Outdoor Event in Singapore in 2008” by Juice magazine (one of Singapore’s most influential lifestyle & music mag) in their December 08 issue. The whole line up is massive, unique and vibrant. Just to name a few of our friends also performing: Harmonic 313 aka Mark Pritchard, Christian Prommer, The Nextmen, Dorian Concept, Simbad, Garfld and so many more. Check the WORLDWIDEFESTIVAL website for the full line up

Especially Ku Bo is getting such a support from Gilles. Stereotyp will bring his latest project, Ku Bo, to WF Sete 2-3-4-5 July 09. We are thrilled to see Stereo there! He also just finished an exclusive mix for the Gilles Peterson Worldwide Show on BBC, which will be broadcasted soon. Check our blog for latest news on that…

Stereo at WWF
Stereotyp and Cee were playing at last years WWF Singapore too and they consider South East Asia their “other” home.

The boys including Fefe stopped in Singapore last year after opening up for Missy Elliot in Kuala Lumpur. So see some more action here.. Stage is packed with girls, ladies, women and grace… haha…

So talking about Fefe. She is also heavily featured at the Worldwide Festival. She finished the design for the official Worldwide Singapore T-Shirt and we gotta say Justin looks better with the shirt…
Fefe and Justin

Fefe aka Lil Monsta will be performing with Al haca and Ku Bo plus she will be be painting in Singapore and Sete this year.

You should also check out this article on the Worldwide Website for some silly and serious detail info’s….

We will upload a special mixtape for the Worldwide Festival these days. Watch out.

If you wanna know who plays when and where check out this link . It has all details about venues and show times..
