CRUNCHTIME Livepainting Sessions

Salon Leopold, Museumsquartier

29. September 2007

Through Speakers:

Stereotyp, CEE (AL HACA), Joja, DJ BEWARE (fm4)

On the Wall:

Stefan Mörth aka Stereotyp (Crunchtime) & SPECIAL GUEST

The Session

Street Art is an non-static process in public space. With our „CRUNCHTIME Livepainting Sessions“ we want to create a dialogue between the consumer and the creator, the external and the internal space – and last but not least: the musican and the visual artist. Our CRUNCHTIME music project Al-Haca & Stereotyp will be tearing up the bass speakers and Stereotyp himself will be rockin visually in full colour as well, armed with markers and ink. Participating and observing, the public (also known as party guests) will experience the diversity of street writing, graffiti or other forms or urban expression. The participating artists develop their work in the very moment, led by the vibe of the party, the flow of the music and the state of their creative minds. The guest becomes part of the scene and an actor and not so much just a passive spectator.

Staging our „CRUNCHTIME Livepainting Sessions is not just about entertaining party guests, it´s about engaging them.

AL HACA TO THE FULLEST

METAPOLYP // CRUNCHTIME

Family Business is pure Al Haca. The songs drift effortlessly between 4-4 beats and staggering offs, acoustic instrumentation and the signature Al Haca – Stereotyp Sci-Fi synths, while a world of nano Dub bubbles just below the surface. Cryptonite, Dial Zero and Citrus call for late night headphone sessions, while Family Business or Banana Split will rock every dancefloor and barbeque this summer!!! Alongside New York MC RQM, the army of choice vocalists contributing megatons of soul include Coppa, Oliver Grimball, Hubert Tubbs, Sandra Kurzweil, Cesar Sampson, FEFE, Patrizia Ferrara and Vera Böhnisch aka L’enfant Terrible.
Family Business is the first full mini LP installment of a series of 3 that will be released only digitally.

XLR8R: “Al Haca has gone completely sci-fi on the world. Banana Split sees the production team tackling synthparameters like analog brain surgeons. If aliens threw a BBQ that M.I.A. was attending, this track would most certainly accompany dessert.”

With support from Milanese (Planet Mu), Kid 606 (Tigerbeat), Dj 3000 (Motech/Underground Resistance), Dj Vadim (Ninja Tune), MaryAnne Hobbs (Breezeblock/BBC Radio1) and many others.
