“They asked me to paint a shrimp on the wall behind their open air shop. I was saying – no i only paint what i want. I looked at the animal for making an abstract idea, but it had so a cool alien shape that i decided to draw it like it is. They were realy happy whit the picture and fascinated how quick i do this. Boom! They gave me a kilo shrimps …bon troc?!”

Proud to present the MobileTagUnit. A nice little box equiped with an ipod with fattag app connected to a pico projector and ready is the mobile action. First video and more urban task force projects to come!

First post in 2010! Happy new year! We start this year with a real banger! Finally Tvout2 for jailbraked ipod/iphone is out , which means that now it’s possible to visualize any app on a second screen. Second good new is that Theo Watson along with his team released a new version of fattag, programmed with a lot new features. One to keep an eye on is the possibility to save any tag as GML data on the #000000book . Big up for the whole team at F.A.T giving us new toys for urban visual expression!
Along side with my friends, Vael, Smurf, Mascaras and Porno we did the first vj gig at the flex club in Vienna. We plugged in the fattag through a 3,5 to 5 meter led wall, hanging over the dance floor! Yeah kind of wicked installation. It worked out perfectly.
Club impressions: Big thanks to S.P.Y (Metalheadz) for an impressive DnB set
Porno, the +caras, test
Smurf, Vael, saveMenu
some gml data from the action: bass & dream
The futures is now! More crazy actions! Urban interventions! Ipod-vjing! Digital analogue graffiti! Mobile Tagging!
Element Europe joined forces with Crunchtime artists based in Vienna, Austria for a skateboard live-painting project this autumn. Decks coming out of artists’ series by skateboard companies are usually either too exclusive or too expensive to be skated. Hence, they usually end up on a wall in a living room. But you know what – NO street NO art!
We painted 30 boards in summer 2009 and the notorious INOPERAbLE Gallery in Vienna is going to show at the 19 December the whole project with impressions of the Crunchtime painting sessions.
feat Artists:
Fefe Talavera (Brasil), Smurf (Austria), Stereotyp (Austria), AraByrd (Malaysia), Cee (Germany) and
Momo1030 (Austria),Brother Kas (Austria), Karton (Austria)
p.s: The project is full of different philosophies, energy, and truths, so. just watch the video enjoy”
After the weekend we are back with the Trailer of the “No Street No Art” Project. The making-of was pretty fun. We used mixed techniques like eddings, spray cans and photo prints from the painting sessions and put them together onto a paper and filmed it while rolling it from one side to the other. The music was a collaboration of Dubmaster Cee and Momo on the wackedegged-guitar.
Keep it raw – keep it real. Enjoy
26,9 mb, codec: h.264, length 1min22
We finally made it! The recording session is over , the trailer is being uploading and the the final short movie is on the way with a little surprise at the end… so what more?
More live painting on Saturday the 10th of October at the Sneakerness in center of Vienna – don’t miss that occasion to get a customized new element skateboard and watch the final movie, because it wont be online till end of this year…
Here some shots of the last two sessions:

As you already have noticed, Crunchtime was invited on the 26 August 2009 by the Peng! Magazine to do a live outdoor painting show in the garden of the Pratersauna. Drawvolution is still editing the the video… in the meantime here some photo impressions of the action:
Yes! it was a wicked production and a wired night. We had a short guideline: a 5 m long and 2 m height canvas, black and white, acrylic paint, markers, the logo, an orange-red as and the smashing hand…. but finally all went into another direction. Stereotyp started with his face and the punching fist. Momo1030 and Cee were working on the middle section with a wired ball pen marker illustrating a crunching mixtape. Ipsy joined the session too, helping us with some little details and some art direction. And finally the result was a wired crunchtime train full of little details, shadows and strange pattern popping up through the canvas
Resume:
"Its seems that the process of painting is like Life unpredictable and full
of surprises. It is a spontaneous expression of the moment."
