We are back with a brand new Drawvolution production in corporation with the Sound:frame Festival 2010 taking place in the capital of austria, Vienna. The drawvolution life goes on in 2010. The soundframe girlies organized this beautiful red wooden wall and Skizo, Smurf, Aroe, VL and Momo painted as “full” as possible. There is no much to say any more, here we go.

As you already have noticed, Crunchtime was invited on the 26 August 2009 by the Peng! Magazine to do a live outdoor painting show in the garden of the Pratersauna. Drawvolution is still editing the the video… in the meantime here some photo impressions of the action:

Yes! it was a wicked production and a wired night. We had a short guideline: a 5 m long and 2 m height canvas, black and white, acrylic paint, markers, the logo, an orange-red as and the smashing hand…. but finally all went into another direction. Stereotyp started with his face and the punching fist. Momo1030 and Cee were working on the middle section with a wired ball pen marker illustrating a crunching mixtape. Ipsy joined the session too, helping us with some little details and some art direction. And finally the result was a wired crunchtime train full of little details, shadows and strange pattern popping up through the canvas

Resume:

"Its seems that the process of painting is like Life unpredictable and full

of surprises. It is a spontaneous expression of the moment."

Yeah, another beautiful urban modification recorded exactly one month ago. It took us a little time to upload this one… busy, busy… but here it is now. I don’t know how long the wall is, but it took us about 5 hours and 30 Liter of paint to finish this monster – not to mention the rough and rainy working conditions during the action. In spite of everything some little interaction happen with a women going out with her dog in the morning. She said how happy she is that some one eventually decorates this ugly wall. We did for you – for the people living in the cities – spreading love and positive energy!

It’s simple, it’s easy…. CRUNCHTIME LOVE

Welcome to another chapter of the drawvolution history. Drawvolution is an open concept with a mission. A mission to unite, fuse, explore and experiment with analogue (creation) and digital (documentation) culture. The philosophy is to unite different artists – musicians and painters – to inspire each other and increase the diversity of art. Our cities and lives are in constant evolution and revolution. So it is with our urban drawings with the camera lens as digital sole witness…

Enjoy the next clip with some lovely experimental soundscapes from Crunchtime-lover Cee.
